Creating Confident Caregivers

If you are a caregiver to someone with dementia or memory loss then Creating Confident Caregivers (CCC) may be of assistance to you.  CCC is a 6 week training program designed to provide you with information and skill development that will help you feel more confident in your care giving role.

You will learn about:

  • Dementia & its effects on the brain
  • Caregiver resources

 

You will learn how to:

  • Reduce caregiver stress
  • Improve caregiver self-confidence
  • Create a positive care giving environment
  • Plan activities for your loved one based on their strengths

 

Who can attend?

Anyone who is caring for a loved one in the home who has Alzheimer’s disease, memory loss, or other forms of dementia.  There is no charge to attend.

 

Free respite care

Care for your family member with dementia or memory loss can be provided free of charge while you are attending the sessions.  Please ask for details when registering.
