* Are you an older adult or do you care for someone age 60 or greater?

* Would you like to learn more about the power of attitude?

* If you answered “Yes” to any of these questions, put the date on your calendar now!

Plan now to attend this FUN day of continuing education and activities presented in a relaxed environment. Casual attire will be the order of the day. Bring your friends and enjoy a good time! Hey, who said learning can’t be fun?!?!?!

Who: Older adults and/or their caregivers are encouraged to attend

What: Senior EmPower Day 2011 (seventh annual!) 

Where: Timber Wolf Lake Lumberjack Lodge (www.timberwolf.younglife.org)

4909 North Morey Road (M-66), Lake City, MI

When: Friday, September 23, 2011. Pre-registration is required by Sept. 9th.

How: Register: Mail completed form (see below) and registration fee to Area Agency on Aging of Northwest Michigan, 1609 Park Drive, PO Box 5946, Traverse City, MI 49696-5946

Transportation: Contact your local Commission/Council on Aging to learn if transportation is being coordinated from your area.

Cost: $ 5.00 per person age 60 or more by September 9,  2011

$10.00 per person age 59 or less by September 9, 2011
