AAANM promotes the development of a comprehensive, coordinated, and cost-effective system of home and community based services. We strive to ensure that services reflect the needs and preferences of older adults and their caregivers.

Public Input
AAANM seeks input from the community about the challenges facing older adults. Each year we provide a number of opportunities for public input. These opportunities include:

The AAANM Area Plan
The Michigan Office of Services to the Aging requires an Area Agency to develop an Area Plan. Public input as well as Federal and State initiatives are incorporated into the AAANM Area Plan. The Area Plan guides our efforts.
