Area Agency on Aging of Northwest Michigan

Advocacy

AAANM operates under the framework of the Federal Older Americans Act and the State's Older Michiganian's Act. These acts provide general goals and a purpose for area agencies on aging and serve as an overall framework of aging policy at the federal and state levels, respectively.

In this section, we will be posting information to help engage the community in the aging policy process.
